wasp removal | bee service
Given the migration of Africanized honey bees throughout the southwestern United States, the public has become more aware of honey bees and the potential threat they pose to our families. The state of Arizona is in the AHB distribution range along with southern California, southern Nevada, New Mexico, and throughout Texas.
Typically, honey bees prefer to keep to themselves and are amazingly beneficial to the environment. Unfortunately, our homes sometimes provide harborage areas for hives to form and colonies to grow. If a honey bee colony feels that their hive is threatened, they will defend it. Loud noises, vibrations, and direct contact with a hive are some of the triggers linked to bee stings.
If you notice a hive on your property and would like the bees to be safely removed, we can do that. Give us a call and we’ll promptly be at your property with the industry’s leading products and methodologies to neutralize any threat that the bees may pose.
Wasps, unlike bees, are scavengers, which is why we often times find ourselves having to guard our meals from unwanted invaders. This is a hassle at barbecues and picnics. Since wasps are scavengers, not only do their stings cause a painfully intense reaction, but they may also put you at risk of infection. These pests are also able to sting repeatedly (unlike the honey bee, which dies shortly after it nips you).
Look under the eaves of your home, under your deck, in your attic rafters, playground equipment, sheltered branches and bushes, and any other areas that provide adequate cover from the elements for the paper nests paper wasps, hornets, and yellowjackets create. There are also several species of yellowjackets that nest in the ground, and we treat those pests as well.
