Cummings utilizes non-repellant chemistry to combat termites. Termidor®, the termiticide we utilize, is designed to sneak into the soil undetected by the termites. This allows the termites to move through the termiticide, picking up the active ingredient and carrying it back down into the colony, thus killing it from the inside out.
The active ingredient in Termidor® is fipronil. Fipronil is the same active ingredient used in a popular flea and tick medication for your pets! All applications for termites are conducted in a controlled manner; we practice sub-soil treatments, wall voids, and methods tailored to specific circumstances.
